The Seer

The Seer welcomes you with knowing eyes - she already knows why you have come. Draped in raven‐feather and ancestral pelts, she entrusts you with “the power of the runes” and offers her quiet blessing, her faith in your success filling you with purpose. Having foreseen your arrival, she joins Ratatoskr to recruit you for the quest to save Yggdrasil, the World Tree.

Ratatoskr

Ratatoskr is your unlikely guide through the Viking realms - a big, fluffy red squirrel whose very name means “drill-tooth” in Old Norse. Famed for mischief, he scurries up and down Yggdrasil’s trunk, ferrying messages and barbed insults between the eagle aloft in its branches and the serpent Níðhöggr lurking in its roots.
